Our History

Lake Road Pharmacy has been located in Port Macquarie for more than 60 years. Our lead pharmacist, Rob Yates (B.Pharm, M.P.S), began operating the business more than 10 years ago.

Having been a long-standing business in a region like Port Macquarie, we have been the local chemist for generations of families. Some of our customers have been with us from their youth through to their elderly years. We greet most of our customers on a first-name basis, and we know their parents, brothers, sisters, children and grandchildren.

It’s our mission to provide no nonsense advice and a wide range of products to address your every healthcare and wellness need. We’ve ensured our property has plenty of parking and is neighbouring general practitioners and physiotherapists.

Whether your doctor has prescribed you medication or has recommended a particular vitamin, we have everything you need right here at our pharmacy.

Situated between The Grange Family Medical Centre and Hermitage Medical Centre, you can visit your local GP or specialist and then conveniently pick up any medications you require from us afterwards. We have ample parking and huge range of discounted health products.
